Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (GP Rating) : Pass the exam 10th. or equivalent from any recognised Board, state or Central Board & NIOS, New Delhi, with minimum 40% marks in aggregate with Science, Maths and English as a subject , also require 40% marks in English in Class 10th. Standard.
Age Limit : Not less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 28 years at the time of commencement of the Course. For SC/ST 30 years.
Educational Qualification (For CCMC) : Pass the exam 10th or equivalent from any recognized Board, state or Central Board & NIOS, New Delhi, any stream with minimum 40% marks in aggregate and English as a subject , also require 40% marks in English in 10thin Class 10th. Standard.
Age Limit : Not less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 25 years at the time of commencement of the Course. For SC/ST 30 years.and for OBC :28 years,Graduation :27 Years.
Medical Fitness: As per M .S Medical examination of Seafarers rules, 2000 as amended from time to time.
For CCMC : 160000/- (One lakh Sixty thousands ) only including training fees fooding, hostel, uniforms and basic STCW-2010 course Course( i.e PST,PSSR,EFA,FPFF and STS&DSD )
No stipend is payable during the training period.
Duration : 6 (Six )Months
Intake capacity : GP Rating :90(Ninty)/Batch
For CCMC : 40/Batch
Commencement of the Course : 1st.day of January-2027
Selection: Because of interview and personality test, first come first serve basis.
Date of Interview Every Tuesday: -14-07-26, / 21-07-26/ 28-07-26/,04-08-26/,11/08/2026 or till end of the seat
Prospect : After successfully completion of the course (Pass the exit exam by the competent authority.) candidate shall be entitled to obtain the CDC from the office of the Shipping Master, Mumbai or Kolkata and eligible for join merchant navy job.
Valid documents: Before Join the course candidate must obtain the passport from the office of regional passport officer.
